Notes from WPC 2008 – Overview

I am attending my first WPC 2008 in Houston. First of all, Houston is Humidston.
The event is at George R Brown Center in Downtown Houston. The keynotes are in Toyota Center which is a short walk from GRBC.
Someone told me around 12000 people are attending this event with partners from all over the world. I personally had a chance to speak with partners from countries like UK, Germany, Serbia, Korea, China, New Zealand, Australia, LATAM (I know latin america is not a country but I am not going to list all countries and frankly i dont remember) and India. (Obviously I met prople from US too.)
The event spans July 7th to July 11th. It is broadly structured every day as follows:
- Breakfast
- KeyNotes in Toyota Center
- WPC Connect (more on this soon)
- Lunch
- Breakout presentations
- Expo Hall
- PARTIES in the evening.!
