Here we discuss the various “applications” of Microsoft SharePoint platform and technologies to business problems. We might not discuss the fetaures of SharePoint platform as such as I am sure there are many blogs out there which can satify that need.
We want to talk about solutions, business applications and architecture strategies around the adoption of SharePoint. We might hit upon the challenges in introduction of this platform in an Enterprise setting and might discuss some approaches we haev taken. We will discuss what worked for us and what did not.
We will hit upon various scenarios where we used SharePoint including but not limited to records management, document management, legal discovery, content management, WCM, custom application development, SDLC, systems integration, SOA etc
We want to share our views and experiences but also engage with you in a dialogue. We dont claim to be experts but are service providers. With every successful implmentation we do become more confident but also more curious and creative. We like to stretch the flexibility of SharePoint in a creative manner to satisfy a business need.
